Voices of excitement that can only be heard on site ? There are no holidays when you live with animals.
@I was born and raised here, and I am the third owner of this farm. In the past, milking was only done by hand. Now, milking is done mechanically. Dairy farming has undergone a transformation over the past 30 years or so. I decided to open up this dairy farm to the public about 15 years ago when I had the opportunity to host parents and children from the city for a homestay program called Sanson Ryugaku (in this program, urban parents and children stay in mountainous areas to experience rural life). When parents and children came to visit us during holidays for Sanson Ryugaku, they often said, gFarms are great! Theyfre really fun!h I was very pleased to hear how much they enjoyed the farm. Later, when I was thinking about making changes in my dairy farming management, I decided to open my farm to the public. At first, I accepted 200 students on a school excursion. In the following year, I accepted 1,000 people and in the third year, that number rose to 3,000. In addition to groups, I also began accepting individuals. Since I soon found myself shorthanded, I now employ five staff members.

Designing experience-based dairy farms in my mind
@During the winter, when there was a relative decrease in the number of guests, I constructed a multipurpose hall. I worked with my staff on everything from the preparation of timber to design and construction. The design for this handmade hall was in my mind, and one of my staff members ? Yosshy ? gave shape to it. We constructed cottages in 1999 and subsequently began accepting lodgers. In 2002, my wife began making ice cream. In the following year, I embarked on selling ice cream made from milk that comes from our dairy cattle and for which production takes place at a town facility.

Striving to educate the heart and mind through interaction with nature and animals
My main business is dairy farming.
Opening dairy farms to the public will lead to increased understanding of the value of milk. Both parents and children can observe and learn together while forging heartwarming parent-child relationships. It is with these thoughts in mind that I await your visit.
