A miracle hot spring passed down since the end of the Meiji era - Out of the wish that good fortune will be brought to many people
@
Nearly a century has passed since Kanno Hot Spring was discovered. Since the era when there were no trails, a great number of people who have heard about the benefits of this hot spring have visited the spa and gained improved health as a result. We have witnessed a person carried on a board returning home on foot at a time when there were no vehicles. Even now, I see people who come here in wheelchairs and are then able to climb the stairs two or three days later. There was also a person who was cured of a skin disease as a result of 10 days of spa treatment despite the fact that the person had been told by a doctor that the disease was incurable. Receiving spa treatment two or three times a year is believed to be effective. If spa treatment is conducted several times using the same spring water, our bodies become accustomed to the benefits of the water. However, since Kanno Hot Spring has seven different types of spring water and each of these has different benefits, it is possible to choose hot spring types depending on your symptoms. Therefore, you can receive seven different spa treatments here at Kanno Hot Spring.

Location best suited for spa treatment ? It would be a waste if you only stayed for one night.
Located approximately 750 m above sea level, Kanno Hot Spring is surrounded by forests and enjoys a moderate climate. Even when the temperature at sea level plummets to|20Ž in winter, the thermometer here indicates about |13Ž. This place, which has no wind and is warmer than areas at sea level, is comfortable even in winter.
It is my desire that guests who stay here will improve their physical and mental health by spending their time here touring open-air baths along the river, climbing Mt. Upepesanke, looking out over the thickly-wooded landscape and healing their fatigued bodies in the hot spring. We serve homemade dishes prepared using only fresh, local ingredients. I would like to welcome guests to enjoy our hot spring and delicious dishes. I truly hope that many people will get away from the hustle and bustle of large cities and visit this quiet place to relax their minds and bodies.
